Sports Toto’ corporate responsibility is focused on helping deserving people while contributing to societal development and benefit communities. The “Helping Hands” CSR programme was first presented by Sports Toto in 2010 and was featured on NTV7 as a 30-minute Mandarin charity programme. After 3 seasons of Helping Hands programme, Sports Toto once again brought back the “Helping Hands Season 4” in 2013 and added in new elements into the charity-themed programme.
In season 4, two local popular artistes, Ke Qing (可晴) and Thomas from Thomas & Jack (东于哲的小东), have been assigned as team leaders to partner programme with previously Mandarin TV hostess, Hong Ku Khee and volunteers in extending helping hand to the less fortunate families by way of home renovations and other essential items.
“Helping Hands Season 4” is currently airing on NTV7, every Sunday 6pm to 6.30pm, from 1st December 2012 to 2nd March 2013. The story of each beneficiary family was also featured in Guang Ming Daily every Sunday.
