The renowned beauty brand, Adonis Beauty has been the main sponsor of Miss Astro Chinese International Pageant (MACIP), the tremendous annual event organized by Astro since 2004. Stepping into the 9th year of sponsoring this event, Adonis Beauty continued to provide professional facial and body treatments for all finalists while educating them the right way to maintain healthy skin.
MACIP 2012 contest was held from September 2012 till November 2012. During the recruitment at Pavilion, Seventh Heaven, Adonis Beauty was granted a special corner to set up their own booth and free Adonis goody bags were given to all ladies who took initiative to join this beauty contest.
All finalists were entitled to enjoy free customized facial treatments by Adonis Beauty. Thanks to Adonis Beauty, all finalists get to have a moment to themselves while attaining rejuvenated skin! Despite their busy schedules, beauty workshops too were held twice by Adonis Beauty at their headquaters. A better understanding of daily skin care was gained as skin care regimens were shared by the Director of Adonis Group, Miss Kelly Lee. Moreover, finalists were given a chance to understand the latest ideology of Adonis Beauty – Adonis Skin Aesthetic Theme. The CEO of Adonis Group, Miss Ann Lee shared this meaningful yet beautiful ideology with all finalists. A small celebration was held by Adonis Group on the same day as a special reward party for all finalists.
As the main sponsor of MACIP 2012, Adonis Group was given the chance to have all finalists to visit their Pavilion outlet and experience some exclusive Adonis treatments. This event was being recorded and it was broadcast on Astro. An exclusive interview with Miss Ann Lee, the CEO of Adonis Group, regarding the Adonis Skin Aesthetic Theme was also arranged, recorded and edited into five 60-sec vignettes. These vignettes served as extra exposures for Adonis Group during the competition period.

To help boost finalists’ popularity, roadshows and a voting campaign was held during the competition period. A press advertisement was released on a few main papers and magazines to spread this event widely among the public. It has received good respond from the public as everyone in town were discussing who will be crowned as the Beauty Queen.

At the grand final on the 3rd November 2012, Miss Ann Lee was invited to be one of the judges while Miss Kelly Lee was invited on stage to give out the “Miss Body Beautiful” award.
