Power Root is committed to benefit deserving communities while contributing to society and human well-being. In 2012, Power Root launched its “Power Root Sejuta Harapan” CSR TV Programme, a 30-minute Malay charity programme, to bring hope and joy to those in need.
In view of educating the masses to appreciate what they have, each episode is hosted by programme host, local renowned artiste Serina Redzuawan and a guest artiste to take the viewer through an introspective and heartfelt journey. Home renovation and other essential items were being offered to all less fortunate families to help brighten up their life. At the end of the CSR programme, a total of 11 families have received welfare benefits from Power Root.
“Power Root Sejuta Harapan” was aired on TV2, every Tuesday 9.30pm to 10pm, from 15th January 2013 to 16th April 2013. This programme has successfully raised social awareness and sensibility on social welfare issues.
